US Army Ranger is an AKC Registered Black/White/Tan Shetland Sheepdog. His sire is Sergeant Major and his dam is Silver Belle. Ranger was born here in our home and has captured our hearts from the beginning. Liberty took such a liking to him that we couldn't bear to separate the two so we decided to keep him.
A little on the shy side, he doesn't always like the camera but Ranger is always doing some silly antic. More than anything, he loves to wrestle and run with Liberty or Sergeant Major. Nightime often finds him jumping into our bed for a snuggle. Ranger follows us around faithfully and finds a place near our feet. He is such a gentle sweetheart.

Rangers coat is very thick and soft and is such a stunning jet black. He has very little brown on his face so he looks almost like a bi-black. He has beautiful almond-shaped eyes. Ranger stands about 16 inches high at the shoulder and weighs roughly 28 pounds.
Ranger has surprised us by being a very involved father to his pups. He loved playing with them and was always nearby when they were outside.
