Sergeant Major is an AKC registered Black/White/Tan Shetland Sheepdogs. Our first Sheltie, Sergeant Major has been loved by everyone and has inspired others in my family to get Shelties.
More than anything, Sergeant Major loves to play ball. He loves to go for walks and rides in the car and especially visits to my Mom's house to play with her two Shelties. He has been very good with children. His herding instincts are very strong and he tries to keep the little ones corraled with the adults. We love to snuggle with our sweet boy and he lets the other dog's know that he consider's my husband's lap, his spot.
Sergeant Major stands 13 inches high at the shoulder and is a muscular 21 pounds. He has beautiful markings that people comment on. Many of his offspring, including Ranger, have inherited his beautiful, expressive eyes. Sergeant Major offers a good example of the magnificent coats that male Shelties have when they are a couple of years old.
